The occurrence of Islamic revolution with religious aspirations and ideals – in terms of historical considerations and also revolution's theories – actually is regarded as a magnificent event in the history. It is quite likely that for getting into the depth of all dimensions of the revolution requires referring to the remaining sources of the ex-regime though such sources include the deeds and reports prepared by security system of the Shah's regime yet expressing some aspects through the remarks made by those who actually witnessed so many events and realities nay well suffice the need in this area. One of such figures is Mr. Mohasen Musavi Fard who completed his studies in his own hometown in Kashan and then immigrated to Qum city for continuing his studied in Alavi school where I got to know Shahid Beheshti and this friendship led to his engagement with the Islamic revolution. He played a significant role in this glorious revolution. After he was witnessed to the crimes committed by security forces in Qum city he found staying in Qum impossible and move on to Tehran. He assumed the position of conducting mass prayers at Masjedol-nabi in Narmak and due to his friendship with Shahid Beheshti he joined the Ruhaniat Mobarez Society. Shortly afterwards because of political activities he was arrested and taken into Evin prison. When Bakhtiar came to power as the prime minister and Imam decided to return to Iran resulting in Mehrabad airport shut down, Mr. Musavi Kashani along with Shahid Beheshti embarked on a sit-in at Tehran university. Upon Imam's arrival into Refah School he managed to meet him in private. After the victory of the revolution he continued his political contributions through Islamic Committees. After a while he assumed the position of deputy for Ideological-political section at the Army. When Imam passed away he was invited to the leader's office and currently he is a member of the Leader's residing Base and conducting mass prayer at Masjedol-nabi in Narmak, as well.
The text below is part of his autobiography explaining his companionship with Mr. Hashemi Rafsenjani during the combats against Shah's regime.
The communiqués issued by Ruhaniat Mobarez society were written by "Hashemi Rafsenjani"
Shahid Beheshti had assigned a certain task to specific persons at Ruhaniat Mobarez society and he was in charge of preparing and distributing the tapes himself but he devolved the task of writing the statements and communiqués upon Mr. Hashemi Rafsenjani. Reproducing the tapes was the responsibility of some other persons such as Mr. Musavi Khoieniha. Distributing the pamphlets and communiqués were my task – together with Shahid shahabadi and some other friends there. Mr. Shahabadi had a Voleks-wagon and would bring us the papers. During the nights of military rule by hearing the sound of his vehicle we could understand he had arrived in and the communiqués were ready. He would bring in the sack of papers and immediately leave afterwards. Then we would begin our job and we knew well what to do. All the tapes and papers were then distributed ion Tehran and other cities. We had some aids inside Tehran's Bazar and some other locations.

A short conversation with Hashemi at the clinic and 2 hours of punishment
In Evin prison they used to tie our arms tight whenever we were taken to meet our relatives. Mr. Hashemi and I were tied together and once on the way back to our cells we saw Mr. Karrubi. He greeted each other and due to that simple act Mr. Karrubi was put into solitary confinement afterwards. One day I was sick and taken to the prison's clinic. Over there I met Mr. Hashemi and after the greetings he asked me: "How long is it that you are here?" and replied to him and told him that I was so happy to have met him there. Shortly after this short dialogue they punished us and forced us to stand opposite the wall, and we were not allowed to sit down. Well, over there we suffered all types of physical and psychological tortures.
Strange dream in prison, a stretcher taken by Hashemi, Taheri Khoramabadi, Beheshti and some others running to different directions
After I read Ashura Ziarat I slept and had a very absurd dream: I saw myself in Azam mosque in Qum city. A sick person- who was even nicer that Imam - was beside us to be taken care of. He was about to die and we were doing our best to save his life. But no one could help us. No hospital did let us in. not even one single person among people was ready to take care of him or receive the patient.
Some of Imam's students like Shahid Beheshti and Hashemi Refsenjani were carrying a stretcher around. We were helpless and decided to seek aid from Imam Hossein. We suddenly screamed his name together. Then I saw Imam Hossein among some flowers on the south-western part of the mosque looking at us. We ran towards him yelling his name. And Imam Hossein was smiling.
It was only Hashemi who could convince people to embark on the Sit-in at Tehran University
During the sit-in at Tehran University, Mr. Taleghani and Beheshti delivered speeches. I have one memoir that can not be forgotten at all. One day a large group of people from the southern part of Tehran were demonstrating and they were carrying something burnt over their head and they kept yelling: "oh! Leaders get us armed". That burnt object was actually the body of a Mazlum Shahid that Shah's forces had burnt. People were so angry and showed intense sensations. No one could get them relieved. There clashes all over the city and security forces were killing people. Mr. Hashemi arrived in and by his wisdom and pacifying words managed to control them and through his instructions the angry people carried away the corpse to Behesht Zahra and buried the victim. Mr. Hashemi firmly told them: "let us accomplish our task. We are about to succeed. Please do not destroy everything." Well, people felt a sense of confidence and after getting quite convinced all of them left the area.
